 2007 Global Partner Conference (GPC)
 August 13th, 2007, St. Paul, Minnesota

Crown Plaza Riverfront The second annual 2007 PPT VISION Global Partner Conference will be held on August 13th, 2007, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel/Resort in St. Paul, Minnesota. In addition to corporate updates, the IMPACT product roadmap, and sales and marketing strategy reviews; Partners from around the world will gather at this conference to learn and share actual IMPACT selling experiences. Click on the link below to access the dedicated GPC site where you will find information regarding conference schedules, meeting agendas, training topics, hotel reservations, and conference registration. For those who may consider an extended stay before or after the conference, there is also an Events page, which includes information about the exciting entertainment and activities in the city of St. Paul.

 New IMPACT Product Brochure
 Available in Printed and Electronic Versions

Brochure Cover The new IMPACT Product Brochure is now available. This 12-page brochure includes updated information for the complete IMPACT product line, including IMPACT C series, T series, A10 and the IMPACT Software Suite. Two separate charts provide side by side comparisons of the vision tools and the HMI interface among KickStart, VPM and CPM. A full page is dedicated to vision applications with sample images and illustrations. You can order printed copies of this brochure, or download the electronic version in PDF format, using the Online Literature Request Form found in the Partner Login area of our website. For international Partners with foreign language translation needs, a brochure document shell (graphics only with no text) is available in either Adobe InDesign or PDF format. Contact your dedicated Sales Development Manager to obtain the brochure document shell.

 New Certified Integrator Program
 A Dedicated Webpage on www.pptvision.com

The PPT VISION Certified Integrator Program is designed to provide our Distributors and Customers access to highly-qualified Integrators who can deploy and support IMPACT products globally. A dedicated INTEGRATORS page has been added to our website, listing all certified and pending certified integrators. From the Distributor's stand point, having access to highly qualified integrators who are experienced with the IMPACT product line means their vision projects can be deploy successfully in a timely manner, which in turn allows them to focus on expanding their sales territory without being bogged down by technical support issues. If you are currently working with qualified integrators, please encourage them to enroll in PPT VISION's integrator certification program.  Application Notes Contest
 Submit your entry by June 30th, 2007

Contest PPT VISION Partners are encouraged to submit application notes featuring their installed applications for the 2007 IMPACT Application Notes Contest Each participant will receive a long-sleeved dress shirt with the PPT VISION logo, and the top three entries will receive an award valued at $500. A sample application note and note template are available for download from our web site. All contest submittals will be collected into an IMPACT Application Notes Binder which will be made available to conference attendees at the 2007 GPC event. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to share and learn about the success stories of selling the IMPACT product line.  Get Answers from the Experts!

 Application Corner
 VPM Version 7.1 Setup Panels

In this issue of Partners E-News, we are featuring an application video that uses Setup Panels to demonstrate the results of the VPM ease-of-use initiative that is available in IMPACT Software Suite Version 7.1. This application example demonstrates the steps used to create a vision program to inspect carrier tapes that are used in the electronics industry. The application requires the vision system to perform gauging and gross defect inspections. The video demonstrates how a complete inspection program can be configured in just a few short steps. The new Setup Panels allow users to create vision programs without the need to access the tool properties tabs. Setup Panels are currently available in 23 tools, including Origin, Line Gauge, Contour Pattern Find, Blob, Morphology and Color Checker. More Setup Panels will be implemented in IMPACT Software Suite Version 7.2, along with other features and enhancements that will continue our software ease-of-use initiative.
