This application demo features a vision solution created to inspect the circular text printed on a randomly oriented oil cap used in the automotive industry. The vision program uses a Contour Pattern Find tool to locate a specific feature on the cap to determine it's orientation. Next, an Unwrap tool is used to "straighten" the curved text so the OCR tool can read the text accurately.
