In Venezuela, products such as beer
are packaged in glass bottles that are shipped to consumers
in plastic crates. After consumption, consumers return
the bottles to the store where they are shipped back
to the brewery for washing, refilling, and repackaging.
Before bottles can be refilled and repackaged, each
crate must be checked to ensure that the correct number
and types of bottles are present. The loss of bottles,
and the overestimation of needed bottles, cause inefficient
inventory management which results in increased cost.
With the Crates Checker and Bottle Counter, that problem
is solved and plant managers can track the losses generated
by missing bottles. With the implementation of this
system, you can accurately count the number of bottles
in the crate, determine empty holes where bottles
are absent, and account for any foreign objects that
may have been returned in the crate. If you have multiple
lines, you can manage them remotely using Ethernet protocol communications. The control
application is versatile and easy to use.
The Fill Bottle Inspector
measures the fill level and the presence
or absence of the cap for medicine bottles to
ensure that the bottle is properly filled and that the cap is present and in the right position. The application can
measure both transparent and non-transparent liquids and has easy-to-set tolerance levels. This permits configuration for all bottle sizes within the visible
range of the camera. Every two minutes a log file is
saved that contains statistics about the production
lot. Every bottle that does not match with at least
one of the specifications is rejected from the conveyor.
The inspection results are displayed in graphic and numeric
formats. The inspector has a single Human Machine Interface and fulfills
FDA regulations.
In Venezuela, products
such as beer are packaged in glass bottles. After the contents are
consumed, the bottles are returned to the brewery
where they are washed, filled, and repacked. When the product packages are reused, they commonly
contain products from several manufacturers. The
foreign bottle inspector is able to inspect one-hundred
percent of the total production and reject all the
bottles that do not correspond to the product that
is being filled. The inspector even
rejects the manufacturer's bottles if the product does not match what is being filled. It shows the inspection results
in graphic and numeric formats, has a single Human
Machine Interface, and conforms to industrial food
norms.
The FurnaceMANAGER Monitoring System employs state-of-the-art digital video equipment to
monitor flames from the burners and tube metal temperatures of furnaces, heaters or boilers.
FurnaceMANAGER uses the IMPACT Intelligent cameras to enable viewing of multiple flame
sources plus the ability to interpret multiple views with it’s built-in software interface. This allows
control function by programmable logic controller for early warning capabilities as well as
protective shutdown and historical recording. Download brochure.
The KT-200 fastener inspection
and sorting system is designed by Shanghai Kingtek
to serve the fast growing manufacturing and assembly
industries in China. The system uses 4 IMPACT T-Series
intelligent cameras to image each fastener from four
positions and removes defective fasteners as they
pass through the inspection station. The cameras
are networked to a common GUI, displayed on the exterior
of the cabinet enclosing the system, from which a
user can readily pick the part style of fasteners
to be inspected.
The Meproscan 9070 is an automated system designed to inspect blister packed components used in the pharmaceutical, electronics and metal industries. It can accommodate up to 4 cameras and 8 different light sources to suit a variety of inspection needs. The system also has the capability to add on blisters stack magazines at both ends for part handling. Meproscan 9070 comes standard with 1024 X 768 pixels high resolution cameras, in either B/W or color. The system provides an user friendly human interface which allows the operator to create and modify inspection programs quickly. Download brochure.
The Rubber Stopper Inspection System is the world’s fastest inspection system for
pharmaceutical rubber stoppers. This system, the 3rd generation in its kind, is a result of 10
years development in automated high-speed rubber stopper vision inspection for quality control
within clean-room conditions. This system design is flexible and can be adapted for specific
customer needs. Download PDF brochure
The Stampede is a complete and compact machine vision inspection system, designed for the precision strip stamping industry. It will typically be positioned between the press and the strip reeler. It is equipped with a standard, easily adaptable and adjustable program and HMI for 100% measurement of all critical dimensions and inspection of shapes. No programming required.
The Stampede is supplied with high performance PPT VISION IMPACT C- or T-series machine vision systems, which can be equipped with a broad range of digital cameras. Download PDF brochure
The VisiKron Terminal Control is a complete turn key automated system designed to inspect
electrical terminal strips. VisiKron is typically used in high speed progressive stamping processes
in the automotive and communications connector industries. The heart of the Visikron Terminal
Control inspection system is built around PPT VISION's IMPACT product line. As the terminal
strip is passed through the inspection system, the modular design allows the product to be
inspected by up to 4 cameras ranging from standard to high resolution, and each camera is
equipped with a high quality telecentric lens and low distortion mirrors. This allows the Visikron
Terminal Control to accommodate the most demanding tolerances and offer the needed
repeatability.
