Machine Vision Application Engineer

This is an outstanding opportunity for a well-rounded Application Engineering professional interested in working with advanced machine vision solutions and systems at a growing company with outstanding capabilities. Based in Bloomington, Minnesota, this position is a front-line technical consultant to PPT VISION’s network of system integration and channel partners.

Located in Bloomington, Minnesota, PPT VISION, Inc. is a world leader in the development and application of machine vision technologies for manufacturing applications. Position responsibilities include the following:

• Contribute to our growth by programming PPT VISION’s IMPACT intelligent cameras to solve customer problems.
• Coach and teach others how to program, configure, and deploy our intelligent cameras and systems.
• Contribute to our growth by demonstrating our products.
• Use your excellent presentation and telephone skills to support PPT VISION’s distribution and integration selling partners to secure positions on new manufacturing machines.
• Contribute to our growth by traveling occasionally to assist customers with installations and to conduct training seminars with PPT VISION’s integration partners.
• Contribute to our growth by publishing applications articles, blog entries, and white papers we can use to promote our products.
